Berkshire Hills
Berkshire Hills Country Club chose Restorations Inc. in 1996 to build a new clubhouse on their Benedict Rd. site. The resulting structure shines upon the hilltop with views of the surrounding mountains through the creative use of energy efficient glass. The interior design kept the familiar floor plan in the main dining area and bar, while significant improvements took place elsewhere, as in the downstairs locker rooms and the addition of an elevator between floors. A dramatically extended outer porch now overlooks the course and greens to the south and west. And the carefully landscaped grounds adjacent to the new building add the finishing touch to the stately structure – elegance in form and function.
